Fit well and good cushioning
My husband wears size 15 wide shoes and these size XL socks fit him well, not hard to get on at all, they have nice cushioning on the soles. They stay soft after many washes too.

Great socks for diabetics
My feet sweat a lot from type II diabetes. Regular cotton socks get soaked and my feet feel like they have been in water all day and hurt very bad.Regular cotton socks quickly loose their cushion and the netting feels like cheese-cloth cutting into my feet.My wife and I went to a sporting goods store and bought over $100.00 of different types of athletic socks to try them all.These socks wick the water away and I can walk a lot and stay on my feet longer, which helps the effects of diabetes.Get a pair of tennis shoes that breath well with these socks!!!

Decent Quality, Good Value from Dexter!
The Ricky II style of bowling shoes from Dexter is a good pick for the average bowler, one who bowls for fun in maybe one-to-two leagues a week. It comes in either black or white and is designed to look and feel like your standard tennis shoe. Comfortable and light, it's also economical, being one of the least expensive shoes in the Dexter line.If I have one complaint it's that the soles are attached by glue which, if you are one of those people (like me) who tends to slide your shoe off with your other foot, could cause the sole to begin to separate. Unfortunately I learned the hard way not to be lazy and just untie the shoe to take it off. As long as you take care of your shoes they should last for years.In my opinion the shoe is a great value for us "bowl for fun" bowlers!

Pretty sweet shoe!I hate to do this, as I'd so much rather just give my business to a local merchant...but I just did not like any of the selection at any of the nearby retailers.So I tried on a few other Dexters of other varieties in-store before ordering this one online.I'm normally at least a size 10 in other shoes; I was a 9.5 in Dexter - Hope that helps others who don't have the convenience of trying on a few pair before you order.But yeah, their not top-of-the-line quality bowling shoes with personalized soles or custom orthopedic inserts or anything (lol, some of those go for close to $200, so don't expect anything pro-quality). But I've used this pair about a dozen times now (bowling class at the local college. 3 games/class), and they feel great and are holding up actually better than a prior off-brand pair I bought for slightly cheaper.And MAN, I love the style. :) Looks like an average casual shoe.Awesome! Love this purchase!

Exactly what we wanted
These bowling shoes arrived on time and we love them. They were purchased for my 13 year old son, and they are definitely cool enough! They are well made, fit well and look very much like a tennis shoe. I purchased them a half size up from his regular shoes and they are just big enough for a little more growth spirt.
